Methods: Cutting Skills

METHOD EFFICIENCY
The method is useful for:
• eye-hand coordination
• simultaneous digital coordination
• spatial orientation
• recognizing geometric figures
• tactile stimulation

SPECIFIC SUPPORT MATERIAL
In order to form and develop cutting skills, the following material is necessary:

A) a chart with a range of worksheets, organized on different degrees of difficulty, that go  progressively from basic to complex skills, and refer to the following activities:
• Cutting up to a given point
• Cutting straight lines
• Cutting curves
• Cutting simple drawings
• Cutting a broken line
• Cutting a dotted line
• Cutting the interior of a drawing
• Cutting and assembling

B) a set of adapted blunt pointed scissors as follows:
- one-hand scissors (both for the right and for the left hand)
- scissors with or without finger support
- scissors with table support
